here the link for the phone plugin and chrome plugin:
Downloads - chrometophone - Project Hosting on Google Code

heres the link for the firefox plugin:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/161940/

you need to install the plugin for the phone for either browser.

How does this work? Doesn't this need something on both the computer and Nexus One?

You need to install the Chrome to Phone app on your Nexus One as well as the plugin for the browser on your computer.

I have it installed but it doesn>t seem to be working quite like the demos show. In the demos, when you send a link to the phone, the browser on the phone opens automatically. However, for me, a notification appears in the notification bar of my phone. When I tap on the notification, THAT'Swhen the proper app opens (browser, maps, youtube).

Anyone have any idea about this?

    Rick

Thanks for letting me know there are two sides. What did you search for in the Market for the Nexus One to complete the package? I tried to find it and didn't have any luck.

When you register your device on the N1, you can check the box that says "launch browser/maps directly"
