    I want that exact same movie quality on my N1.

    In your livingroom I can understand wanting the best quality, but on a phone I think it's a bit overkill if you're not willing to compromise a bit. Best of luck finding an answer

    Well there are a few options:

    1. You could download the torrent

    2. If you have the BluRay you can rip using DVDFabPlatinum

    3. If you have the video already ripped you could use a transcoding tool like this or another transcoding tool

    Settings should be (at least what I could dig up):

    800 x 480 resolution
    MPEG4 container H.264 codec
    750-1000 kbits/second bitrate
    2 Pass encoding
    FPS (I think should be the same as source)


    I used to have the i8910 HD and I used DVD Fab to rip some movies that looked absolutely sick on the screen

    DVDFab to the rescue. I've used it many times and it rips perfect every time. The most recent movies being The Hangover and Avatar. Avatar ended up being just under 1gb which is nice.

    i just used handbrake to convert my movies and it works a treat
