    i just set my apn settings like you assisted me to.. my download speed is 440 kbps and upload is 412 kbps. is that good? i can watch youtube videos on it with no lag etc.

    That's not great, but it is not horrible. Call MSM tomorrow and see if there is anything they can do for you. Maybe they can reset your phone on the system. When I first got my sim I out it in the phone before contacting MSM and got synced up with the TMO servers.

    You could also take out the battery and sim card for a minute and se if that makes any difference.

    im currently tethering in my car waiting for my cousins job interview to be over. i propped up my phone near the window and clear view of the sky (besides being in the car) i did a speed test...

    download 1.34mbps
    upload 0.34 mbps

    that test via speedtest.net

    when i used speakeasy.net

    my download speed is 2.68 mbps(335.3 kbps!!!!)
    same upload speed

    has anyone tried it in the nyc area? I just dont want to have to switch back to tmo after being dissappointed.

    im actually going to send my mom a sim card for simple mobile and my unlocked iphone up to queens(nyc). there should be coverage up there

    Has anyone using Simple Mobile got Google Voice (GV) to work with it? I'm interested in using GV as my "answering service" and to forward calls to my cell from the GV number.

    GV configuration fails using my SImple Mobile number. I get an advisory to "contact the carrier" everytime.
