This is a discussion on Whose got the Official OTA of 2.2? within the Nexus One forums, part of the Google Phones category; got it yesterday morning. t-mobile orange county, ca...
got my first ever official Froyo update OTA. Its build FRF91, and I've been doing manual updating for all previous builds
Whole thing took 5 minutes
Location: Sydney, Australia
Went from FRF50 to FRF91 this morning at 0800 in OKC via the official OTA. Took about 4 min. I did do the checkin thing and POP! it was there.
....and yes I had to reload Swype.
I've just received a message in my Nexus One this morning. I've installed and it's working perfect, much faster and lots of free RAM (60 before ; 250 now). Still some missing supports for brazilian portuguese (yeah i'm in Brazil).
I just got froyo an hour ago. it works great but now my swype doesn't.
Gonna start the "checkin" to see if I can get my wife's Nexus Froyo.

Don't see anything in a newer phone that gives me a temptation to leave my Nexus One!
This is my first post here. I've had my Nexus One for about a month and yesterday morning I got my OTA update to 2.2. Already installed Flash 10.1 and loving many of the new features. Just thought others would like to know that my OTA arrived! Unrooted and never manually updated in case anyone was curious.
Congratulations, Galloway! And welcome to the forum! We're glad you're here, and hope that you enjoy our community. There is much to be learned here, and a great bunch of people, too.
Finally got mine update yesterday(Telus) everything went smooth my only question is where is the new security option I thought I would be able to get rid of the drawing option and just type in a password to unlock the phone?
