This is a discussion on Concise guide for manually updating EPF21B / EPF030 builds to frf91 within the Nexus One forums, part of the Google Phones category; send me a link i'm registered and waiting...
I'm using mobile broadband in an area that has rubbish reception, so this upload is going to take a while - soz. I'll post the dropbox link as soon as its ready.
Right, i think this is the way to do this,
here is the link for frf85 update: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8820206/update.zip
I think the download for you lot is going to be mega slow as i don't have proper broadband in this area. but give it a go.
I'm putting the command prompt in as requested but my phone isnt doing anything. Have checked that it is connected ok and it is. Any ideas? sorry.
k) Now type in the command prompt: fastboot-windows oem unlock.
* if you have a Mac - fastboot-mac oem unlock
Have another look in device manager, and double check that you have 'android device, click that and it should say google nexus one. if you don't have that, check for warning triangles. i know that when i got to this point, i checked again on device manager and the drivers weren't there. i had to update and copy them over for the computer to recognize the phone. it's worth checking.
