    Yeah there seems a disparity between the two builds when attempting the dos commands. I'll update the guide to reflect this.

    *** 07/07/10 update done to guide - if anyone has issues with the part about unlocking the bootloader (entering the dos commands etc), let me know. also, let me know if it works okay!

    firstly i'd like to say thank you to all who are participating.

    I used penguins method and it worked fine, now I have just done

    ' fastboot flash recovery recovery.img '

    I know you said don't worry about failed msg but I got error : cannot load recovery image.

    Is this what you meant?


    It is ok have seen my error, had file in wrong location!

    Zippy, no I don't think that's right. Put the recovery image into your android sdk tools folder. Then load dos prompt and change directory to your android sdk tools folder (cd c:\ etc) then type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. see if that works

    Its okay, just seen your post lol. Congrats mate! You'll get frf91 soon ota

    I found that not being great on the laptop was quite a stumbling block. Mainly having folders in folders! Once again thank you for all your help.

    Don't ask me how I did anything though

    Thanks I followed your instructions to upgrade to froyo from an SFR Nexus One build EPF21b.
    Everything went as described and the latest update came 2 minutes after the reboot!
