    i cracked my touchscreen (digitizer) this week. called htc and they quoted $115US and said they'd send a shipping label within 24 hrs. took until the next day (which i guess isn't as bad as other people are getting) but boy am i glad i found a place where i am that could fix it before that label came. hearing about all the waiting time makes it well worth the extra 50 bucks i shelled out to get it fixed the same day.

    if anyone is in toronto and has a cracked digitizer/touchscreen, check out techknow space. they charged 150 plus tax and had it done in 2 hours. of course the warranty is voided now but oh well, fingers crossed for the next year.

    about to send my phone in, for some reason my phone disconnects from tmobile whenever im on wifi or its in sleep mode so i cant receive or make calls.

    After reading all the comments I was worried about the return of my phone, and especially so after the tracking number didn't work and I'd previously read that this happened to a lot of people, purposely. I was worried and a little annoyed because I'd been trying to track for some time, and I thought the same might have happened to me. So I emailed, got impatient, and then 'chatted' with the people at HTC and they were extremely helpful, tracking for me and then giving me a number that actually worked.

    I rang HTC on friday, it was collected by the UPS monday (because of the weekend), and returned by the UPS friday. So a week for the whole process and 4 days without my phone, which I thought was brilliant. Also, great service which was immediate. My phone's back to working and I am very happy with the service, just so anyone else reading doesn't worry too much about their phone after reading all the unlucky stories haha.

    Why the hell would you pay 165$ to get this phone fixed???? and on top of that the warranty is void just By a new one

    Any body reading this it's probably too late but I would highly recommend not getting a HTC phone!! They work great but if yours break, your screwed. It took 3 weeks to get my mailing label. This was with the dealer calling them regularly. My phone has been shipped out now for 15 days and no word. That's 5 weeks without a phone so far. Is that potential nightmare worth it????? I expect them to say its not under warranty. It was super heating and turning it self off all the time.
