    Limit applications access to phone

Hi, is it possible to limit an applications access to the phone?

I have penguin hit and it keeps popping up with adds and this seems to make my phone heat up a lot, can you change the areas that apps and games can access?

Nope, that's what purchasing the app/game is for.

The way that you limit them is by not installing them. They tell you exactly what they want to access when you install them. If you don't like it, you should not install it.

    Agree with Thor & Beer.

Another thing, I don't know what the penguin app is but I've never had my phone get hot from ads popping up in an app! Sounds like something else is causing that... not ads.

    Amazing greed.

The whole reason you're getting the app for free is the ads. They support the developer. I guess you just want the whole world to work for you for nothing.

I'm guessing you're one of those who don't fast-forward through commercials on his DVR, eh? =P

But honestly, it's more about blocking their background tasks that chew up my battery life.
