IMO, he wants free batteries from Google. Their batteries aren't defected, so no need to hand out FREE batteries like Apple is with their cases :rofl3:

HTC probably doesn't have it on their website but I'm sure that if anyone calls them needing a new battery, they would send it..if it was warranty related. They'll probably have a way you could purchase it in the near future also.
Come here little sheep; I have a nice juicy apple for you!

Free would be nice, but all I'm asking for is a N1 Battery from HTC for $25. Right now all I can find is a siedo 1600 (supposedly) for $54 and I just can't do that.

The standard Nexus One battery is 3.7vdc 1400mah 5.18whr... With that being said, here is a link to one that is 1200mah ...Battery for Google Nexus One, G5

If that isn't cheap enough, you can go here and get the same statistical battery for the 25$ that you are willing to pay:Nexus One Lithium-Ion 1400mAh Battery

    Hope that helps!

wouldn't the n1 take the same battery as the htc desire? If so then there will be batteries available for a while to come yet...

As confirmed to me by HTC (and I've since bought some), the N1 takes the exact same battery as the HTC Desire. Plenty of those around for under $20
