Having successfully rooted (aseems, you know you want to roooooot!),

I remember reading in all those guides something about partitioning your SD card, but I can't for the life of me remember why it says to do that. Anyone know?

Congrats on succesfully rooted your N1. :cheer:

Since I am still with the stock 4 gb memory card, I want to wait till I buy 16gb card before partitioning. The only thing I know about this partition thing is that there is where the apps will be transfer to.

I really see no reason to partition now. its done automatically with Froyo.
