Are we sure it IS vanilla Android (aka Google Experience)? The new G2Forum site has a pic that looks like Sense added, but it could just be a mock-up/pasted image from another 'droid phone...IF it's like the G1 (vanilla) it is definitely in the running..I'd never go for a hamstrung/junked-up phone like those on Sprint/VZN. Still, I expect to get another year at least out of my N1, and it's form factor and sexiness are still unbeatable, imho.

    taken form Engadget.com

T-Mobile Scoop says the phone's MSM7x30 chip will be clocked at 800MHz, rather than the 1GHz we'd hoped for. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that T-Mobile lying about speed, as anyone who's upgraded from Droid to Droid 2 very well knows -- bloatware can easily clog the pipes even on phones running Froyo, and we've heard that this particular HTC device is running a pure vanilla Android build. Speaking of delectable operating system revisions, T-Mobile confirms you'll indeed find Android 2.2 under the hood accompanied by Flash Player 10.1

I'll probably get one around november for my wife (wow, that word sounds weird...getting married nov 6). Anyways, she'll need a phone and the G2 sounds like a good candidate. Wonder if any other cool android phones are coming to T-Mobile around that time?
