Hi all!

I couldn't wait to share the news with you all

Sharp has announced a phone packing all the usual Japanese phone goodies and a 3.5 inch screen with 960 x 640 resolution.

While I love my AMOLED, Phones made by sharp were always my favourite (before I had a Nexus one). Its nice to see that Androidians have a nice LCD too!

Now my only wish now would be either:
a) AMOLED/OLED screens reach that resolution
b) Sharp incoperates their quattron technology into that screen
c) LCDs get close to the blacks OLEDs produce

I'm sure option a is the most realistic at this point

And here is a video of it in action:

That memory display at the bottom seems pretty useful :D

Pity that this phone will most likely (like all other amazing Japanese phones) stay in Japan only. Plus its CDMA, so Australians like me couldn't use it even if we had one.

There are news about sharp releasing a 3d smartphone before the end of the year too :D this is exciting!
