Don't know about other ROMS, but it's works great in MIUI. I guess they fixed it.... I have no problem playing games multi touch and it doesn't jump when my fingers get close to each other. But it's been proving fixable.
Cool, I guess I will wait and see what GB brings, if does not work in it, I might finally check some other ROM's.

Sorry to disappoint you, but a quick run of the multi touch visualiser showed the flaw still exists in MIUI (11.05).

But I think it heavily depends on how the app is written it self. Some apps don't seem to pick up this up a much. Gameboid for example seems to be ok, I can play sonic (which is pretty fast paced) without much problems. Having said that, I'm sure google can write up something to make it better (maybe not fix completely, but making better is definitely poossible)
Galaxy Nexus? I like Nexus prime more. Even the code name "Maguro" seemed cooler.

I'm fine with the multi touch improvements. The same games that sucked on stock and CM6 was vastly improved on MIUI. I can only speak from personal experience. So maybe case by case. But even zooming does not jump like it used to.

Could you try a test for me? Get this free game

Air Hockey: EM ~ Android Game v1.1.1 By Ellis Markov | Arcade & Action

put it in two player mode, and see if the bug happens? I am running FRG83 on AT&T via the last OTA update (never rooted) and it definitely fails the test.

    Thanks!

Multi-touch will never be perfected on the N1 because it does not have a true multi-touch screen. That's just the way it is.

There are some threads here somewhere that explain this.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm happy with the phone as it is, and I'm afraid I'll end up with more upgrades that I don't want than upgrades I want. For instance, I'm very happy with Maps 4.4 and won't upgrade till the make the search bar optional. Will Gingerbread force the latest Maps version on me?
