Yes. I believe so.
This is a discussion on Gingerbread Thread. All things related. within the Nexus One forums, part of the Google Phones category; Yes. I believe so....
I couldn't see the crt animation, but then again, this is complete stock android with no G-apps (I need to try getting g-apps on like i did for froyo )
Overall its nice, functionality seems better with the text editing.
Galaxy Nexus? I like Nexus prime more. Even the code name "Maguro" seemed cooler.
In one of the nexus s videos on the official site it uses a very similar shut off screen. The only difference is its in landscape.
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.
From what I'm hearing it's not as fantastic a leap as eclair to froyo was interms of freeing up user memory, ui or functionality
I was hoping that it would auto port all applications to be installed and run from the sd card
But maybe I expected too much?
But being constrained to 516MB (or to be true 196 MB) really sucks
OK so let's take a look at the evidence...... :-)
Gingerbread is out with Nexus S this Thursday 16th in the U.S.A & on Monday 20th in the U.K
So, when will our beloved Nexus One get the update, perhaps Thursday, Friday? Unlikely to be the weekend as most googlers will be enjoying their weekend. I forsee an update on Friday 17th personally. Anyone got any extra info!?
Nothing is perfect, but we must not lose faith in perfection. If we did, everything would be a whole lot worse than it is now!
@aseems One word. Honeycomb
@Iggy82 I'm gonna predict Monday tomorow.
Truth I don`t think so cause the nexus S is suppose to introduce gingerbread so they will probably release it same day or after.
No matter which day it's released, I'll be watching for the file to be posted to flash it. :nexusx:
they should have released both the phone and 2.3 tomorrow. they released the first nexus on a tuesday.
