    Search Wlan file in the market and several apps will come up for you.

    Wifi file explorer being one of them. I'm sure this is what you are looking for.

    Wifi Explorer puts up an unsecured web site on the phone based on the description, I was looking for something more like just browsing the phone like any other network share... AND letting the phone browse local shares.

    Try ES File Explorer for browsing networks from your phone. Worked great for me
