Well if you aren't learning now, when? Reset back to is impossible unless u brick it and HTC will unroot back.

In the mean time, while u have root. Just enjoy it. Maybe now you're saying "my phone is good now" or "stock just fine by me and I satisfied", wait until u flash a Miui rom or SenseUi rom and experienced it.

You don't really have to learn the additional options. By default it's not that different from stock. I think maybe you're a little too paranoid.

Agree with Slim, if you download ROM manager you can choose custom or stock just as easy as you like.

Wow that is a very encouraging greeting for someone who just joined the forum I know it as jk I am just saying. Although seriously jdlindsey7 there is nothing on stock that is not on cm6 (the ROM that you are running) there is just more so you don`t have to use the extras if you don`t want. And since the bootloader is unlocked you will have to flash every os update that comes to the phone (actually I`m not sure we will get many more after GB) so you might as well learn this now. But if you really want to go back to stock just do a search of the forum there is defiantly a thread that will explain how to flash a stock ROM.

Stock ROM guide is here (Unroot/Restore, passimg method):

Personally, if you're trying to get Gingerbread, I'd wait until a rooted copy surfaces...

thank you everyone for your help. i'm not opposed to running the custom rom, i was just afraid of manually updating, but since i am reading encouraging words from everyone about the rooted phone and give updating a try once gingerbread comes out. i came from the iphone which allows you to do nothing and i was a little overwhelmed with all of the options and tweaks available on this rooted phone. to be honest, i was a little afraid of messing something up but i will play with it and get it down eventually. i love my NEXUS! thank you

Ask any questions. We're here to help. Android is much more complex than iPhone. Don't fret. We got your back.
