    Why would it?
Because t-mo don`t want to have the tethering for free on android so they can charge for it and the other carriers will probably follow.

Yes, but why would GOOGLE do that to THEIR dev phone?

I regret my last update. I won't be first.
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.

Updated to FRG83D. Super One Click Root lost but will use Super One click when I get home, and see if that gets it back which I.m keeping my fingers crossed it will. Swype requires a reload to function again. Don't have another device to test tethering or hotspots here so can't say for sure if that's affected. Will update as I figure out the update.

Update: Got Swype working again with the newest download. Just got home so will try the Super One Click method and see if I can get root working again.

Update: Updated Super One Click to v1.5.5 and achieved root again with FRG83D. Be patient, as it will require a few tries to accomplish, but it works.

Well if anything will do it, it will be one of these OTAs from Google itself that will probably get it off if it doesn`t then sorry but I think you will be stuck with it.
