    does it kill the tethering?
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.

Sounds like (based on the Android Central article) its a prep patch for GB. Not sure why one would be needed though?
Asus Transformer & Dock - Stock OS
NookColor - Not Rooted - Running CM7 on mSD
AT&T Nexus One - Not Rooted
    SquareTrade Warranty - Purchased

You know now that I think about it maybe frg83 patched a hole that allowed the one click root to work but also blocked the possibility of a big ota so this removed this patch. Just a thought. Would or has anyone that got the update could try rooting with the original one click root app?

Because t-mo don`t want to have the tethering for free on android so they can charge for it and the other carriers will probably follow.

So, who's going to try this? I have the download, but the last one I did, it took me forever to get the right button sequence to apply the update and I am not sure I want to go through that again. LOL.
