ON off button

This is a discussion on ON off button within the Nexus One forums, part of the Google Phones category; OK can I set the phone up so I don't have to hit the on off button and then slide to see text or emails ...

    ON off button

    OK can I set the phone up so I don't have to hit the on off button and then slide to see text or emails please.

    Widgetlocker has trackball wake and unlock too if I'm not mistaken. Not a free app tho.

    Galaxy Nexus? I like Nexus prime more. Even the code name "Maguro" seemed cooler.

    I used no lock on my Captivate and it work great. Even has a widget if you want to toggle the screen lock on and off.

    Apps = bells and whistles
    Root = gong and train horn
    Androidfied.
