Really hard decision!!!! MT4G or N1

So, I've had my N1, rooted Cyanogenized for almost a year now. I put it to the side and bought a MT4G about a week ago, but my god, just does NOT feel the same. Yeah the MT4G is a bit snappier, but it's really not a big change I was looking for...

The Genius button is so dang stupid, it drives me nuts.

No Vanilla Android, it's T-mobiles crappy version of HTC Sense witch a BUNCH of bloatware.

Yeah, you can root it, but their is really not much available. Cyanogen Mod just came out for it the 17th, but it's bugged to hell. Video playback doesn't work, and camera is broken.

Oh and I have a washed out screen on the MT4G. Big issue trying to find a good screen for this phone.

I think i'm gonna say screw it and return it, especially since I paid FULL price for the phone.

I've tried Nexus S, MT4G, and G2, and I just can't find a phone that surpasses the Nexus One. Hard to believe this came out almost a year ago and it's still top of the line. :nexusx:

Think I made my decision. Returning the MT4G tomorrow. Nexus One lives on!

Good on you man, you know, when you compare the n1 to todays market, it's still up there in spec with most of them. It's going to be a sad day when I finally have to get rid of my nexus , but I'm hoping that won't be for a long while yet...

Yeah, with the state of the hardware as made in the N1 and what I see for new hardware coming out, I really can't see a phone coming out to REALLY challenge the N1 for at least a year, probably longer. Yes, there will be lots of phones that have better features here and there, but, as an overall package, I don't see it being worth the upgrade for me.

Which is why I chose the N1 in the first place. It's a good, solid, all round smartphone that has replaced a good portion of my need for a laptop, and really helped me organize my life in a way I've never been able to before.

Yeah. Don't know what I was thinking trying to pass up my N1 right now. Mt4g goes back tonight. Loving my n1 again.

I am a Nexus One owner who will never give it up, have the desk top and car docks. Saying that I still went out and bought the MyTouch 4G, love it. I'm in a HSPA+ area and get sick dl speeds on my Nexus One and the speeds on the MT 4G are even faster. I just run launcher pro on it and have it looking just like my Nexus One. Going to root it and get rid of all the junk on it but it is a beast, better then the Nexus S. XDA have started working with it and it's just a matter of time before it has some quality roms.

PS Nothing feels like the Nexus One in your hand. It's great being able to just change the sim card for the day.

they just released a new cyanogen mod for the mt4g. just so you know
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.
