    Problem with hotspot

Hey, I am traveling on vacation (I know real shocker this time of year) and the wifi sucks here at this hotel so I been using the wifi hotspot+3G (which is a solid 5 bars here), but randomly the Nexus appears to lock up. I can not even get the swipe to unlock pattern to work. The only way to get the phone to respond again is a battery pull. This only seems to happen when I have the wifi hotspot in active use.

Any idea what could be wrong? Its stock AT&T, not rooted/etc.

Possibly a heat or load issue?
Have you tried running a uv kernel?

Taking a log cat may help identify the issue...

Yea, some times I get days from it, and sometimes minutes. Cant seem to guess the pattern.

Phone does not feel any hotter then normal, but I realize that is a poor measurement.

    What is a "uv kernel"?

Good idea on the log, is the log preserved in a reboot? If so I could check it after powering back up and see what the last entries were before reboot.
