Congrats, you now have the sdk set up. Now lets make sure adb is working...

Use the on phone menu to put the phone into recovery, then type in the cmd prompt "adb devices"

    Boot the phone normally.

Once up and running in android, hit Menu> Settings> Applications> Development, and enable the usb debugging

Also, when booted, your phone should notify you that usb is connected, and ask if you want to mount. Mount usb storage, then try "adb devices" again...

    Great!
Everything is set up, and you're ready to root.

In the tools folder is the superoneclick program. I've also included a text file called Root, that has instructions for manual rooting (basically, copy some files to the phone, then run them)...

You get to decide which one to use...

I've never used superoneclick, so I'm not really sure how it works, but I think you just double click in windows and follow the on screen instructions...

ok. I have to run for a few minutes and then I'll be back around 6 est. One question. My 16gb kingston hdmsd card is almost full. I have, maybe 300mb left. It this going to be a problem? Oh and it's not partitioned either.
