It's backing up, but unfortunately, It was not correct! Now I'm backing up everything that was checked. anyway, next thing I'll do is try a recovery. If that works, then all I need to do is flash the radio and a New ROM. Correct?

Well its very important to make sure you have a Nandroid Backup first.

Also make sure your careful when updating the Radio as it can brick your phone if not done correctly. An example is if you were to pull the battery while flashing, that = Bricktown.

And Always check the MD5 sum when flashing a new Radio/Rom in recovery.

    Crap!

When I tried to boot into recovery this time, it went to the android recovery screen again!
Oh wait. I wanted to go into Amon Ra recovery, didn't I?

    Edit...I guess I did. Crap.

Sounds to me like you didn't delete the two files from that danger told you to. Because they restore the stock recovery upon boot.

Sounds like your Recovery img is not sticking.

Did you follow the steps suggested by Danger Earlier?

    Get ROM manager working again.
    Install custom recovery again.

    Delete the following two files:
    /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
    /system/recovery-from-boot.p

Root Explorer is the easiest way, but will cost a couple of bucks...
Make sure you enable rw permission in Root Explorer (button at top of screen).

I couldn't find them. I searched in astro and then in The file manager he recommended, to no avail
