Hi again, I want to disable the ota notifications under stock 2.3.3 rooted. I've tried the fota kill.apk wich doesnt appear to be working. I know there is a file I can flash to disable them but I can't find it yet. Help anyone ?

I have the flashable zip, but all it does is install the apk...

Flash as zip from SD.
The update.zip will only flash files called update.zip...
Why not just update to 2.3.4?
Wouldn't it be easier then turning off the notifications?

ill lose root and dont want to redoit with sdk cuz I did it with gingerbreak wich doesnt work with 2.3.4

I was in the same boat as you.
These are the exact steps I followed to maintain root and update to 2.3.4
Maybe took all of 10 to 15 minutes to do
