I have experienced all kinds of problems with the 2.2.2 update. I don't use SWYPE but my keyboard seems a lot slower, will hang up at times and others it will click buttons I'm not even pressing. I have to reboot my phone to get it to work.

Within the last couple of days I have noticed when I get a call coming in the slide buttons are oriented wrong. The buttons are positioned like the phone is on its side, but you still have to slide them to the right or left. I'll have to try to get a pic of the screen.

VERY dissatisfied with Google right now with this update!

Same here, all is working fine and I was one of the first to get this update, but I use the Swiftkey and not Swype even though I do have it installed (could not get used to it).

    Swype and Froyo 2.2.2

Yep, same for me. Installed 2.2.2 and Swype stopped working. Uninstalled/reinstalled and it's working like a charm. No slowdown in processing however.

I just ran Linkpack here and I'm pretty sure my benchmark score is the same as before...

Hard to tell from your message, but you should be receiving an OTA download of 2.2.2 shortly. They're probably just rolling it out in waves.

    this happened to me to.
I didn't realize I would have to reinstall.
The hour I had to use the stock keyboard again felt like an eternity
