    Nexus One gets updated, Froyo 2.2.2 instead of Gingerbread

    got it on my phone already!

    so, yet another froyo update but still no gingerbread on nexus one

    These are staging updates, they are getting the phone ready for Gingerbread by having us ready, this could mean that they are having problems modding the Gingerbread rom to work on the N1. Nothing to worry about yet nothing to look forward to, we might get a few of these before we get Gingerbread!

    Apparently it's just an SMS fix, the NS got a similar update.

    Anyone know where this file is for a user-installation instead of waiting for the ota update? I only use wifi and I'm not sure if I will get the update that way...I've always just installed them myself to this point.
