Should I accept the 2.2.2 update? I am rooted

I can't believe I just got the update sent to my phone. I am afraid to update since I am rooted.
Anyone have any idea what I should do? The update is still there on my phone waiting on me to do something.
    Thank-you.

The worse that can happen is that your phone will probably loose root.

Thank-You iPeck. I have been rooted for months and months and never got any of the other updates. This one freaked me a little. lol Probably because of the rom I am on at this time. I really don't know.

I don't want it to unroot my phone though. Geeeezzzzz Guess I can try another rom. See if it goes away. But just got this one set up how I like it and everything works! lol

    Thanks again for your help.

I would say no don't do it. You can always flash a Rom that has the update incorporated into it.

Thank-You SBS. This is what I wanted to know. I never got one before and kinda shook me a bit. Not knowing what to do. I will flash another rom and hope it goes away.

Take care. Have a great week!

I don't have this rom installed but it worked with my phone too. After I flashed it and re-booted I got a notice for 2.1 update instead of the 2.2.2. I was told to let it try to install. It wont or can't. All updates disappear. You don't have to worry anymore, they are all gone! So, if you get the update for 2.2.2 and are rooted try this and make it go away. Not saying it works for all but it has for everyone I know of so far. Good Luck.

I agree. Why would I want to lose my root just for some tiny update that doesn't even affect me since I don't really plan on going back to stock anyway!

    Because rooting is fun! xD

It's like losing your virginity all over again (OK, it's not really)...
