    Updating Nexus one manually

Can anyone provide me with the update.zip for Froyo 2.2.2, and how to install it?
    My phone is unrooted.

Please not that I downloaded one file for the update.zip, but during the installation i says verification failed.

    Kind regards

    thanks for the help.

It says "signature verification failed. Installation aborted" when I press “apply sdcard:update.zip”.

    Can you help me please?

    Kind regards

I'm not sure what the problem is. The only thing I can figure is that perhaps when you re-named the file you re-named it update.zip.zip. There should only be one .zip at the end. Are you using a windows computer or a mac?

Did you read the directions in the link I posted? It tells you what the root directory is. That is, copy the file to the sd card on your phone (but not in any folders that are on the sd card).

Ok just a little side note why not just wait to get the update from google I mean it's just a 2.2.2 update it is only supposed to solve the sms bug so why bother trying so hard to get it?

    Which carrier do you have?
Which version of android do you currently have?
    Is your phone rooted?
