Sounds like everyone had had a different experience.
I am going to have to do my homework before I get anything.
Hopefully I can try it out in the store.

The bluetooth sounds like it would be the best in terms of ease.
Wish I could hear your setup AndroidIsTheTruth.

Id probably still end up plugging the thing in for the sake
    of the battery.

I need to add that I had no problems conecting it by BT to my car unit .. but it drains the batt fast .. and as we don't have that great batt life .. that isn't an option to me ..

couldn't you just get a DC to USB for the cigarette lighter and charge the phone that way?

hmm not entirely sure what you mean..
but if I you were offended I apologize.

I was just saying that if you could connect it via bluetooth and you like the audio quality. You could fix the battery dilemma by plugging it into the cigarette lighter to keep the phone charged up..
I guess it is kind of a pain and sort of defeats the purpose of using the bluetooth since you are tethered regardless.

Kind of a no win situation here

    Ah okay good.
I agree, iphone does. Even just trying to find accessories for nexus one is nearly impossible. Not like the I phone where you can go anywhere and get almost any accessory your heart desires

Ain't that the truth. I can even dock my iPod in all the machines at my gym...
I think that's where Android needs to focus some attention, in a universal hardware hook up...

    Agreed,

And then get someone who has more then one store to carry it. I'm surprised more places haven't started carrying accessories. Tyre name of the game will definitely be universal though

i have a somewhat related question. I have a blackberry bluetooth music gateway which i plug into my 3.5 mm jack of my car, i then pair it with my n1 trough bluetooth and listen to music wirelessly. My problem is that every so often the music skips for like a second...i dont know if thats because of the blackberry device or my bluetooth...when i use the phone with a 3.5mm jack direct connection in my car i dont have this problem...any suggestions?!
