    Separate Music Apps / Files?

I currently have all my CDs on my SD card in a folder I named "Music." I am happy with the stock music app.

I am a jazz musician and teacher and I have 1000's of background tracks (similar to karaoke) of standard jazz tunes that I use with my students in lessons etc... hooked up to my stereo system.

I want to use a separate music player app to quickly go to these tunes without mixing with my normal albums. Basically I want an entertainment music player and an education music player.

    Do I have any options?

You could use the Winamp app and create a playlist for the songs you want to access quickly.

After much thought I may be able to separate my files by using power amp. that app seems to have the ability to pull music from a specific file. that would require me to switch folders though

I don't think that would help my case because the background tracks share the same genres as my normal listening albums.
