    for Videotron users, a friend of mine on stock Videotron ROM used this file and it worked like a charm. he found it on a forum and i believe it goes from frg33 to frg83g directly if that makes sense: www.mediafire.com/?kdjis8422y8k6nc (rename to update.zip like others, make sure it's not update.zip.zip)

    and then, french tutorial found here: www.frandroid.com/?p=61774

    i can't comment since i did the update like iPeck, frg33-frg83-frg83d-frg83g-gri40!

    Just so you dont get mixed up, videotron is not using stock roms. They tweak them so they are known as mods or tweaked roms. But that said, the normal update.zip with videotron's rom might work too (as you pointed out)

    yea i know, i meant videotron's untouched default/stock ROM! my bad :P

    havent had any issues with battery so far like you pointed out and i hope it'll all last more than a day with normal/heavy use! i totally dig the new notification bar style, the app2sd feature! yo is it me or the live wallpapers are running faster and smoother? im using Launcher Pro Plus and everything is much smoother. nice little effect when you power off the screen too

    I have noticed a bug in this new 2.3.3 rom that even if I exit the maps application the GPS remains on in the background I'm saying this because I can still see the GPS sign in the notification bar Did anyone else noticed this problem?

    1) I dragged my copy of Voice to the trash can. No help.
    2) I re-installed Voice from a very, very old backup copy. OK
    3) I updated from Market. Installed fine and seems to be working OK.

    @eluderwrx you're welcome!
    Don't forget to put the proper APN settings so you can get on 3G and send/receive MMS.

    Name: Videotron
    APN: media.videotron
    MMSC: media.videotron.com
    MCC: 302
    MNC: 500

    leave others to "Not Set".
