Finally I updated to GB - Thanks guys for answering my question. I heard that most of the ppl said that after the update they had so many many issue.

This is what i did first because update to gb:
    1) I didn't do the factory reset or the hardware reset, but I unistalled all the apps that I installed.( I'm afraid that some of the apps might cause conflict with GB because some of the apps might not be compatible.)
    2) I took the SD out and backup into my computer then formated it and put it back into my phone.
    3) As soon as the update completed I did the factory reset, so i can wipe out all the cache and wipe it to the factory default setting.

To me I think Since GB is a new android OS I rather start clean with my n1. it is like
your computer, you rather wipe it clean before installing a new OS.

All the function on my N1 works fine without any issue and it does seem like i have better performance than froyo.

I am still waiting for the OTA update. I think I will have the same problem with the update of Froyo 2.2.2. I was neither able to get it OTA update nor manual one.

I tried to update my N1 manually, but the verification failed. Can you help me please?

My carrier is US T-Mobile, but I don't have a contract with it.

    Regards

Did you buy your phone from T-Mobile?

In order to upgrade your phone with this file, your phone must be on FRG83G. If it isn't, it likely won't work. Look for downloads for your version if this is your problem.
Surley the FRG83G is gingerbread. So a phone wont be on that in the first place.

Not getting OTA upgrade in UK yet and the Manual update always fails on the E verification failure notice. SOOOOOOOoooooo frustrating.

    Any Ideas.

    Fone is on Voadafone uk
    2.2.1 vesion
    FRG83D

    Cheers

If your N1 is stock and you are still having trouble with signature failures, I recommend doing what I did by installing the original manufacturer version. Once that is installed, the OTA will kick in within seconds. Check out this link:

Goodbye Vodafone UK Nexus One ROM! Hello Gingerbread. The Open Source Administrator

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
