Is the Old TV power-off effect present in 2.3.3 for the N1?

I upgraded to 2.3.3 a bit ago on my Nexus One, but I realized that the old TV style power off effect when locking the screen isn't present. Is that a Nexus S only feature or am I wrong about something?

I appreciate the help. I'm a seminoob when it comes to handset hacking, as it's an area I haven't delved into much, so I'm more than willing to take orders and answer questions.

Build number GRI40, Android version 2.3.3. In case this helps, kernel version 2.6.35.7-59423-g08607d4 android-build@apa28 #1

Yeah it works just fine on my N1, I remember someone mentioning this in a thread on xda as well though so theres a reason behind it at least. Maybe redo-ing the update would fix it?

That looks like the right build. Do you have any custom lock screens, or other UI things in place?

In that case I'm not to sure I would look around in your settings to make sure you didn't disable the lock screen although I'm not sure that is possible unless you have cm7  and ya I would also check what VydorScope said.
