1. Sure doesn't look like there's a removable batery in there, so it better be laced up with a bigg-un!
2. 768mb RAM? Damn. The 512 on the N1 was small... this will be out a year and a half later and only be 50% bigger? Boo. LOL.
3. Single core cpu? I thought I'd read that 3.0 (Ice Cream [I know, they said Honeycomb, but we know better]) would require dual core...
4. Not a worry, I just wish it were coming out about the time I'm due for an upgrade...and hence a little better guts. Oh well!
IT'S A BEAUTY!!!!
the back cover might be the same as the htc desire where you pick it off from top of phone(just a thought)
my other phone's a nexus too

Well. There's been much speculation about it being the desire 2 initially, so maybe that's where it came from?

I wouldn't look at it as a replacement at all, just another addition to the Nexus family. The NS is the starting point for Samsung, just as the Nexus One is for HTC. it's all about branding your product. Droid, Evo, MyTouch, Nexus and so on.

Maybe not but when it launched it was pretty much just another average phone just with NFC so I do see why they would want to make a new one with a dual core processor and all sorts of upgrades. Plus there should be an update to the android OS soon so that is all the more reason to release a new phone.
