Well I don't want to knock anything but this doesn't seam right to me

Because if this is supposed to be a Google phone why would it launch with sense? To me that doesn't make much sense (no pun intended). The rest all looks ok but just that one thing puts the whole thing into question (well for me at least XD )

I think these rumors are pretty weak anyway. The Pyramid one was based on the rendering that showed "Google" on the back, instead of the usual "with Google", but it was only a rendering, and the actual hardware shots show "HTC" on the back...

The G2x is being released with vanilla, so that may be a better option (though I do prefer the look of the Pyramid). I think my next phone is going to be based on dev support anyway, so I'll have to see how things pan out when the phones actually drop...

That link of bourne's says it has a native android "Home" button at the bottom of the screen along with qHD screen, so it may still be up in the air. I suspect it won't be a Nexus because nobody has called it that yet and I suspect the next "Nexus Phone" won't be released until next Fall like the NS was.

Aftermarket Roms like CyanogenMod will be my determining factor. They have an affinity for HTC phones, so that sways me to the Pyramid over the G2x. LG has had a track record like Samsung for plastic phones, and spotty software upgrades, and although they look similar, HTC has the aluminum casing for a solid feel. Root the pyramid, get the latest ROM without the added Sense. Which ever phone I go with will be a transition phone, until the second generation LTE phones with quad core debut this fall or next spring. :nexusx:

I'm sticking with my Nexus One until it's rendered worthless. That'd be either by AT&t&T or by it dying.

    I'm with dudewithaplan.
My nexus one still does everything I want and does it pretty well.
I won't lie though, I am one to get the upgrade bug. But I like the nexus one and having just got a data plan it totally changes how I use it.
Plus I have to wait and see how rogers roll out their lte service goes
