    When you see the android with a triangle, you press power button with volume up. You should then use the trackball to select the update process the the update file. It worked for me :-)

    Duh. Missed that step... its running now. thanks! Hopefully this fixes battery and gps issues.

    Let me know what you think about the battery life. I can't really tell today as I've used it heavily and it wouldn't be a fair comparison!

    Just manually updated with the link from Engadget.com. I hope that the battery life is improved! Mine went to sh** after the Gingerbread install. Still takes ages to boot either way...

    Damn! I've lost root! And Gingerbreak does not work on 2.3.4 (yet).

    Wish I had read up a bit before installing - too late now to get root back ... Bah! Oh well ...

    Flashed the update, no significant changes noticed for now. Booting speed did not seem to speed up (compared with 2.3.3) as pointed by another user.
