Let me step back. That is a flaky rom and CM7.0.3-N1 is much more stable. Almost everyone here would recommend updating. But first you'LLC need to make sure you have a partition on your SD card. You should also NOT be using the clockwork recovery 3.0 or later. If you're interested in flashing the update, you will get plenty of help here. All of this is very easy though. I'm far from a wiz at this.

If you open the app you will see at the very top a "recovery" section. Inside t has flash clockworkmod recovery in big font. Under it in small font it lists the "latest recovery" & "current recovery." What is the "current recovery?"

No wonder I was having trouble finding what you were asking for.......mine says: "You must have the ClockworkMod Recovery installed to flash and restore ROMS!"

    Does that help? Thanks!!!

I think that means that you either still have a stock recovery (witch seams pretty impossible to me) or you have no recovery so I would go to all clockwork mod recoverys and select the latest one before 3.x so 2.5.x.x (sorry don't remember exactly what it is) I would use this until you become comfortable flashing ROMs and in recovery then I would change to Amon-RA.

What happens if I do nothing? Will anything change?

Let me rephrase that....Should I do something?

You won't be able to flash ROMs which is ok I guess if you want to stay on the ROM your on but I think it's safer to have a recovery installed encase something glitches and you have a problem you can get out of almost everything with recovery so I suggest you flash one.

    Question

    Can you guys enlighten me?

    1) Why do you feel the need to partition?
    2) What is the issue you have with CWM Recovery 3.0+?

I'm running CM7 nightly #70 without any special partitioning.
