Do I need to run Ti?
Yes. Backup whatever non Google apps you want to keep. Also you can backup your apps in gmail if you have it.

So are you thinking he doesn't have busy box?
    Over thinking things...
I assumed access would've been granted in SuperUser, so the next options are to check permissions and make sure busybox is compatible. I've flashed busybox from the busybox app before, but it had problems...

Downloading it now. Never tried it. I couldn't tell a difference between astro and file manager.

How can I backup my apps? If I back them up in Gmail, how?

Thanks by the way for holding my hand while I'm doing all this.......I'm sure you all have something else you'd rather be doing. I am starting to understand how all this works.....a little bit anyway.

To backup apps go to titanium backup tap the menu button then tap batch and tap backup all user apps + system data this will back all you stuff up you can restore it when you go to the next ROM.

And don't worry about it I had to go through this once and I think dude did too although I'm not sure about danger I think he was born a pro

Go to gmail>accounts>settings>check the synch boxes.

This will backup app data in the cloud.

Dude is correct. Gmail only backs up the data.

I tried to but when I hit batch it said: "Error Sorry I could not acquire root privileges. This application will not work. Pleasse verify that your ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox, and try again."
