    This issue is why I'm always going to lean heavily toward a Nexus branded phone. The next thing I'll look at is how easy it is to unlock/root.

    I second that @dudewithaplan

    I am waiting for the next Nexus device and will probably stick with them, unless something comes along that makes them look like a chew toy
