Steps to be taken if N1 is lost

Hi,

I lost my HTC Nexus 1 phone today. I live in hong kong.
what are the steps that i should be taking.

1. i want to probably lock the phone so that bearer of my phone cannot access my personal data. Can this be done using IMEI code. How can i find my phones IMEI code now that i dont have it. I do have my original order number with me.
once i find the IMEI code then what is the step to lock the phone?
2. is it possible to track the phone.
3. does htc provide any theft insurance?

Unless you installed a loss/theft protection app sorry but you may be screwed. The only other thing you can do is contact your carrier (who at the sign up process should have asked you the imei) and they will blacklist it so that if anyone tries to use it it will block it and they will take the phone away and try and contact you. Other than that sorry but there's nothing you can do.
