    Latest Market App problems, android 2.3.4

    My phone keeps automatically updating to a new Android Market App, at which point it thinks I only have 2 apps loaded, one of which needs to be updated (Maps and Goggles I think). If I uninstall the updates, it goes back to the old version, then updates to version 3.1.5 and it works ok for a while. Then eventually it asks to me to accept the terms of agreement and it's screwed up again.

    My phone is at Android version 2.3.4 (apparently there's a new version going out for Nexus Ones? I haven't got it yet).

    Do you have more than one gmail email account on your phone? If you do, then tap the menu button, then tap My Accounts and select your default email account and that should fix your problem.
    After the update to 2.3.6, my Market showed the same two apps, after I did the above and selected my default email acct, it was fixed and all apps were shown.

    Thanks! Sounds very plausible, I have 5 accounts. I'll try that next time it happens.

    I found that out when I downloaded one particular app, I did it with the wrong google account. I couldn't tell until it was time to upgrade it. I hate that. Even though I've paid for apps using one google account, prior to the market update, my market was attached to an old work google apps account. I left the job and had to delete that account. Bye bye apps! I can't do anything but repurchase every single app all over again. I'm sooo pissed.

    I had the same problem when I got the automatic market update it only showed 2 apps... so I cleared the cache and cleared the data, after that I had to accept their policy again but all my apps were back!

    I am not to keen on the new market app!
    It takes an hour to load on my phone! Hopefully when ice cream sandwich drops it will fix this up a bit!

    Yep, same here...only had two apps listed (Youtube and g. maps I think). Cleared the cache in the marketplace app and all my apps were back as they were.

    I've noticed that my market app does not like to keep the correct email address. Just yesterday when it did it's automatic check for app updates, it only had two apps listed and when I checked accounts, the wrong acct was selected.
