anyone having issues lately? ive tried everything, rebooting, pulling battery, clearing cache. data on internet, market, facebook, anything that uses 3g isnt working. is it tmobile's fault or is it the phone?

I have no problem in Ohio
Why not call them and ask--pull your sim card first and try that
They can relock you to a tower
Also, did you install anything right before this happened, apps, radio, etc
Does wifi work

i tried the sim yesterday but will try again. wifi works, was the first thing i checked when i got home yesterday. this morning in my apt my phone was working on edge data, but a literal 4 minute walk to work, it no longer works in my work building, where for 2 years it worked fine. i'll try calling to see if they can lock me to a tower, but i didnt travel a far distance so i figure it's the same tower
i didnt install any radios, the only thing i installed in the last few days was maybe updates from the market, maybe facebook had a recent update i think
you could try uninstalling those apps, but usually clearing cache/data helps that
sim might be bad--not sure
good luck

actually, it was the google voice update that started to make my phone act weird.
i did not check apn settings, but i havent touched them. i just got off of 611 and they reset me to a tower. it worked better initially but now it's slow again. what should my apn settings be?
under mobile networks, all i have checked is Data enabled
data checked is ok and roaming if you do that
i don't have apn settings but googling for tmobile apn settings should hook you up
if you are getting connected with tmo then losing it, still may be sim card--not sure
uninstall google voice temporarily

thanks, after changing it to one of the links it still didnt work. i then did a reset to default apn after some google searching and it seems to be better. not 100%, but almost there and definitely better than before
glad you got it and hope it gets better
if you keep losing it though after tmo relocks you I would think about the sim card
