    better coverage

I have an un-rooted (and unlocked) N1 with a TMobile SIM card.

Coverage in my area is poor, and really poor in my home.

Does Verizon have a SIM solution I might consider?

Any other options I might think about?

    Thanks!

Verizon's phones don't use SIM cards...at least not their non LTE models. The radios and technology are not compatible, so there's not way that is a solution for you.

might want to add a wireless router to your pc/laptop in home, if you have one--
    Phones Owned: Nokia 6200; Nokia 6126 2ea; BB 8700g; BB 8900; MyTouch 4G; Nexus One: HTC One S; Carrier-TMobile

Try the router and call T-Mobile about how to get wifi calling on the phone (if at all possible). If that fails root it and flash some new radios... (it's a little risky though).

I have a Samsung Galaxy S II and have found that it has slightly better reception than the N1 does.
