    I'm also trying to root my Nexus One running on Android 2.3.4, and I actually found the exact same instructions you mentioned, Fury, but I can't get it to work. On step 5 (If PASSIMG is correctly recognized, you'll see a prompt to install it (Vol+). Follow the directions. THIS WILL ERASE ALL THE DATA ON THE PHONE (will NOT erase the SD card), it sees PASSIMG, but then nothing happens. It doesn't erase any data and doesn't reboot as step 6 says it will.

    I heard this was an "easy" process, but I've been working on it all day with no luck :-(. Any suggestions? Thanks!
