    Unhappy UMA possible?

Since this will be on T-mobile and there ARE 3G/UMA devices (BB 9700)- will we see an app or upgrade available for those that have poor signal strength inside our homes? Please tell me someone's working on this! I can't have a phone that's hit or miss inside. My business can't handle that. Thanks!

It's not currently (as I understand). Hoping we can get an add on for that purpose. If I'm wrong and it is already UMA-I'll gladly admit ignorance & be VERY happy! There are millions that rely on UMA to use their phones- I run a business and can't have unreliabe service at home. It will be THE determining factor for me.

I've had a UMA phone for over 2+yrs. I don't think they realize how many business people use it in buildings! They only charge if u use their "hotspot" at home. Blackberry puts out UMA phones, but we're going to have to get high level Nokia etc to get w/the program.

it lets you use your phone plan over wifi, so if you're stuck in a place with no signal, but have a wifi connection you can still call out :D

of course with skype(nokia n900 integration is superb) google voice and gizmo5(all nokia N/E series do this easily) available on phone platforms now i suppose its become a bit less useful

Im not sure if it will have the traditional UMA like a BB but it will definately run on google voice. Google Voice uses data only and does not use your mobile minutes.
