    Cusotm ROM for Nexus One

    [ROM] 08/01 1.1 - MoDaCo Custom ROM - xda-developers

This ROM is based on the 22607 release ROM (together with my own optimisations) for the best possible performance!

    Included in this ROM...

    - Rooted with 'adb remount' permission and superuser APK
    - MoDaCo Custom Kernel 1.0 - enabled netfilter, nfs, cifs, tun module, EXT4 and more
    - Added busybox 1.15.3 - tweaked such that 'get information' in Swapper now works as desired
    - Added nano 2.09 - text editor for use in shell mode
    - Added parted and sqlite tools
    - Added much more complete APN list
    - Added Wireless Tether
    - Added Titanium Backup
    - Removed Amazon MP3 (can be re-added manually via APK)
    - You can now check your MoDaCo Custom ROM (MCR) version from the about menu
    - Optimised using the MCR build system

Scan this with your Nexus One
    Barcode Scanner

How stable are these ROMS and how easily can they be removed? I read that the Nexus roms are pretty stable, but I'm worried about system crashing.

I don't know what this ROM can or can't do, to my basic knowledge it is dangerous to do it, as a moderator wouldn't you warn people before doing this? installation/uninstallation instructions?

most likely this will void your warranty...

    EDIT:
    sorry, didn't see the link...
I switched from Symbian to Android on January 6 2010...

...then I sold my N1 to get the AT&T version but I'll wait for a qwerty solution from google or better with AT&T band support and got the Nokia E75...

    lol
