notifications?

    can u set-up/assign your music for notifications(email/text msgs)? im stumped...

    Other phones will make fun of your virgin phone. Then your virgin phone will feel ugly and fat. It will have self esteem issues and start to hang around iPhones. Then it will end up in a dark drawer next to a dirty iPod and a whole lot of regrets. Is this want you want WERA!!

    Yes you can. However you need to have it in special folders.

    Get your micro SD card. Create the following folders.

    /Android/media/audio/alarms <- put alarm mp3s in there
    /Android/media/audio/notifications <- put notification mp3s in there
    /Android/media/audio/ringtones <- put ringtones mp3s in there

    I'm not sure if a reboot is required, but I've always rebooted. The system will look for new media files. Next time you assign a notification, the files will be available.

    What he said works great-and you can also put a 'wallpaper folder' in the media folder as well that will recognize in your gallery.

    For ringtones, I created these folders, but I also downloaded Mabilo ringtones; uptodate ringtones and very ease of use to assign to a person..
