When you connect the phone to the PC, in which folder do you copy the music, so it will appear in the music player?

You can copy it anywhere on the MicroSD.
I myself made a new folder and just called it music.

If you want to use it for sound events on the phone, it is best to put it in

    /Android/media/audio/alarms
    /Android/media/audio/notifications
    /Android/media/audio/ringtones

I guess if you wanted it to look similar, you would put it in

    /Android/media/audio/music
