    I know on the iPhone there is no way to send or receive files(songs pictures, etc) wirelessly, since you actually need iTunes as the primary and only exchange/sync method.

    Is it possible to do so on the N1? From phone to phone?

    Could it be done that way between two phones?

    Yes, but for non gallery files you need a file manager app for that, such as Astro, which is free.
