I didn't want to post results, mainly because my Nexus One is rooted and and am currently running Alpha 10 HTC-Desire Rom. This ROM uses much more battery and my results would not be typical of a stock Nexus. For the couple of days I had used the 1600 updated battery with a stock Nexus, I basically saw approx 2-3 more hours of usability. Since my daily use varies a great deal with how long the screen remains on, my times may be atypical. I like to listen to music a lot during the day and I often leave the display on. With display on more than off, and three hours of music playing and typical surfing, etc, I was getting maybe 10 hours before I had to charge it up.

Hope that helps. I do use applications such as advanced task manager to kill services i don't need while listening to music, BTW.

Well, fwiw, I'm on my 1600 battery now for the 7th day. My battery life has actually been worse than the stock battery. Phone fresh off the charger this morning, and after an hour, it's at 87%. 2 texts is all I have done. Not impressive at all.

Do you have any 3rd party task managers to try. I use advanced task manager (In the Market) and close down un-necessary services and background programs that are running. Besides gaining a ton of usable memory you gain substantial battery life. Give it a try. For example, when I want to simply listen to music I use the end all tab. I can get almost 24 hours by being ultra conservative on what is running. Just turning off WiFi on your own if you aren't using it will save a ton of battery time. Also if you don't need data services for whatever, consider killing 3G mode.

    Hello,

Thank you for your comments! The battery life and usage time varies from situations but should perform better than the stock battery. If it is dramatically worse, please PM us your information and we will be more than happy to see what we can do for you.

    Regards,

Did you put the battery through a few full charge/discharge cycles? Mine got better after a few of those.

I ordered mine on Feb 21, it was shipped out the next day and came very fast. Unfortunately, the battery life was abysmal. I used it for nearly two weeks doing multiple recharges per day, hoping more cycles would improve battery life; it didn't improve. I would even still be using it now because I only received the Nexus One a few days prior to receiving this battery, so I did not expect the OEM battery to perform any better. Last week, after plugging in my phone, it shut off (I think), and would not respond. The orange/green LED that lights up while charging started to take turns blinking. I removed the battery and replaced it with the OEM battery my phone came with and battery life has been significantly improved. It actually lasts all day now when I am at school.

    Summary: Excellent service, horrible product.

I'd suggest that you call/email Seidio about this. I'll bet they'll exchange it for ya...better than just eating it!
